+とにかく、@kbd{M-x gnus} (もしくは、普段やっている方法で)Gnusを普通に
+起動します。その後のスレーブGnusaeはそれぞれ@kbd{M-x gns-slave}で
+起動します。スレーブは普通の@file{.newsrc}は保存しませんが、代わりに
+@dfn{スレーブファイル}にスレーブの起動中にどのようなグループが読まれた
+かという情報だけを保存します。マスターGnusが起動するとき、それは
+それらのスレーブファイルを読み込み(そして消し)、それらからすべての
+情報を取り込みます。(スレーブファイルは、最終的な変更が優先されるように
+それらが作られた一連の動作の中で読まれます。)
